The Art of Tweets

Thanks to my PR Admin class, I have found Twitter!

At first, I thought Twitter was completely pointless.  It was just some website to post your status updates.  I had no clue what I was supposed to write. Was I supposed to update it every single time I got online or should I update my followers on everything that pops into my head?
After learning the in's and out's of Twitter last class, I finally understand it.  It can be really helpful.  It's just so much easier to contact people, especially because my entire class is now addicted along with me!  I mean, I think I check it just as much as my Facebook.  My Twitter addiction will probably surpass my Facebook addiction shortly.
I've been finding plenty of new people to follow.  I even found someone who is helping me find a job in little old Milledgeville.   I also found a Fashion PR company.  It's called PRCouture.  I hope I can find even more.  I think it would be really fun to find a job after college in that area of PR.  Since I don't have the skill to create the fashions, I might as well promote the talented people who can!
The only thing I don't like about Twitter is that anyone can follow you.  There are so many people that have decided to follow me, and I have no idea why.  I guess I still wonder how someone in Seattle that sells coffee can find someone like me on Twitter.  I wouldn't think we would have anything in common.  I'm just not that adventurous with my tweeting.
Until my next blog... If you don't already have a Twitter account, go get one! You won't regret it!
